Leading A+ FinTech Company looking for a sharp Corporate Controller, 100% REMOTE

Lending Experience is MANDATORY!!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with all audits and tax-related matters
• Identify areas of improvement and implement process improvements
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Ensure that all financial reporting deadlines are met in a timely and accurate manner
• Perform ad hoc analysis and assist with projects as needed
• Assist with the annual budgeting process
• Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and best practices
• Assist with cash management and treasury functions
• Prepare monthly financial statements

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven track record of streamlining accounting processes
• CPA designation or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Thorough understanding of GAAP

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Experience in the banking or financial services industry
• MBA or other advanced degree/equivalent experience
• Expertise in using accounting software programs, such as NetSuite, GSuite, Office, Excel
• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance regulations
