Who You Are

You're a U.S. or Canada based freelance podcast expert with a good understanding of equipment and recording software.

You are able to calmly explain recording issues to the various people present in the session and suggest fixes where necessary.

You'll be flexible and able to take on tasks at short notice should one of our clients need a last-minute recording.

You love the feeling you get at the end of the day when you know you have done good work and the team and clients are happy.

The Role

At Fame, we start and grow podcasts for B2B clients, and we are accountable for their ongoing success.

As a freelance Podcast Assistant for Fame, you will be part of a wider content team that produces world-class podcasts, giving each show an edge over the competition.

As a Podcast Assistant, you will:

👉 Attend client podcast recordings

👉 Fix and/or document any issues that happen during the recording session

👉 Provide moral support and encouragement to inexperienced or nervous hosts and guests

👉 Communicate major issues with the Fame team

We've worked with B2B businesses like U.S. Steel, Workday, Peakon, HighRadius, LeanData, Branch, and Bevy to start and grow podcasts that profit. We have clients in the UK, the US, Europe, Israel, Canada, India and beyond!

We are 100% remote and work hard to support our lifestyles. We have almost 70 full-time people on the team right now, as well as a host of fabulous supporting freelancers, and we speak a total of thirteen different languages (and counting).

We pay U.S. $13 per hour in United States and Canadian time zones
