Our Clinical Programmer ensures the development of an accurate clinical study database.

Duties include and are not limited to:

• Create data entry screens in a manner which maximizes efficiency for end-users and prevents problems Perform testing on database entry screens sufficient to confirm that database output matches the expected results
• Supports Data Management, Statistical Programmers, and Clinical staff in the ongoing maintenance and updates to the databases and corresponding documentation
• Develops and tests corresponding data check programs to work with the Clinical Data Management System
• Ensures the development of an accurate clinical study database according to the study’s protocol and case report form within given timeline milestones
• Loads external data into the Data Management System and verifies accuracy of data load
• Good time management and organization skills; the ability to work in an efficient manner and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of work
• Ensures the accurate production of data sets extracted into SAS for data analysis and reporting

Qualifications include:

• Minimum Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• >1 years of experience working with research clinical trials, 3+ years’ experience preferred
• Knowledge or Data Management in a clinical trial environment
• Experience with JavaScript, Oracle, Access or SQL
• Programming experience in an Electronic Data Capture (EDC) application or SAS
• Understanding of clinical trial development
