Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis: Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Use statistical techniques and visualization tools to present findings in a clear and actionable manner.
2. Report Generation: Create regular and ad-hoc reports that provide key insights to stakeholders across different departments, aiding in their decision-making processes.
3. Business Insights: Collaborate with business teams to understand their goals and challenges. Translate data findings into actionable business recommendations that drive operational improvements and strategic decisions.
4. Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability by conducting regular data quality checks. Collaborate with data engineering teams to address any data discrepancies or issues.
5. Predictive Analysis: Assist in developing predictive models to forecast trends and outcomes, contributing to proactive decision-making and future planning.
6. Dashboard Creation: Build and maintain interactive dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to provide stakeholders with self-service access to key performance metrics.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams such as marketing, sales, operations, and finance to understand their analytical needs and provide data-driven solutions.
8. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis. Bring innovative ideas to the team and contribute to the improvement of analytical processes.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 1-2 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
3. Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
4. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) to create impactful visual representations of data insights.
5. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication skills to present complex findings in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, managing tasks and deadlines effectively.
8. Familiarity with data cleansing, transformation, and data quality best practices.
