We are hiring a Channel Sales Manager with a strong background in Solar or Energy Storage Channel Sales Management to join the Schneider Electric Solar + Storage team in the US.
The Channel Sales Manager wins, maintains and expands relationships with assigned channel partners or key accounts. The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for engaging with channel partners regarding training, co-selling, as well as achieving sales, profitability, and revenue goals.
What will you do?
- Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
- Develops and maintains up-to-date knowledge of the channel market and competitive products with their strengths, weaknesses and applications. Applies knowledge of channel products to customers’ needs
- Sets goals and objectives, develops sales plans, establishes call plans and strategies, develops account profiles and executes the sales plan.
- Maintains high level of customer satisfaction through high availability/access, timely communication, supporting order management.
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
- Coordinates with channel partners regarding revenue forecasting.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
- Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
- Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.
- Sells through partner organizations to installers in coordination with partner sales resources.
- Strong leadership, collaboration and self-starter skills to manage the business, offers and account plans.
- 5 – 10 years of experience in the solar and/or storage market or similar industries, leading to good knowledge of customer vocabulary, pain-points, expectations, and deliverables
- Ability to prescribe, influence and convince
- Bachelor or master’s degree is preferred. Electrical Engineering is a plus.
The U.S. compensation range for this full-time position, which includes base pay and short-term incentive, is $105,000-$157,000 for candidates located within the U.S. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
