Job Description

Background & Purpose of the Job

The primary purpose of the Associate Regional Sales Manager (ARSM) position is to develop, and nurture sustained business relationships with UNFI Conventional and Natural Channel (with the exception of Whole Foods) retail partners. The ARSM will look after our Beauty and Wellbeing and Personal Care Business Units.

Working with broker sales partners, key responsibilities include building and maintaining a Joint Business Plan, negotiating Category and Brand priorities, and driving profitable sales volume. The ARSM will also have responsibility for providing business insights, financial and demand forecasting, negotiating product distribution, and developing near-term and long-term strategies for mutual growth and partnership. A strong history of working with Unilever cross functional partners is critical for this role.

What You’ll Need To Succeed:

  • Experience with Unilever CD Tools (Evergreen, CEM, etc) is a plus
  • 3+ years experience in CPG or Retail industry
  • Experience working with distributor networks and broker sales teams is a plus
  • Skilled written and verbal communicator
  • Ability to build strong relationships with multiple levels of management internally and externally
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and complex situations
  • Deep analytical expertise, especially working with syndicated data (i.e., IRI, Nielsen, Numerator)
  • Undergraduate bachelor’s degree required

Pay: The pay range for this position is $83,200 to $124,700. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
