We are hiring a Senior Analyst to join our team!

The Senior Category Analyst will support the Tropicana Advisor team. You will be an unbiased go-to resource for category and consumer trends, and merchandising solutions. You will support the modular development processes and execute analysis of markets, shoppers, and consumers that provide insight on performance, innovation, trends, and opportunities. Most importantly, this position requires both data and business savvy, with highly effective communication and problem-solving skills to provide best-in-class partnership to the retailer.

Key Responsibilities

• Helps draw POGs during relay season.
• Helps prepare for and participates in all advisor meetings.
• Manage project requests and assignments
• Collaborate with the customer in conjunction with the advisor regarding all aspects of category strategy development and advanced software utilization
• Track performance and test & learn execution, provides report-outs to buyer.
• Maintain all store and product attributes for category.
• Provide training and technical support to space team.
• Manage customer planogram requirements, category updates, timelines, and implementations
• Execute modular analysis leveraging JDA tables, formulas, highlights, charts, and labels.
• Maintain store traits, product images and dimensions.
• Provide analytical support to advisor, buyer, and mod planning team.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Experience with standard data resources and solutions (Syndicated POS, Panel, Retail Link).
• Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to interact confidently and collaborate effectively with team members and the customer.
• 2+ yrs with Space Management software (JDA, etc)
• 2+ years of Category Management / Analytics experience within the consumer-packaged goods industry
• Thorough understanding of merchandising principles
• Strong PC skill set (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Strong planning/organizing skills; the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Ability to understand and utilize category data in conjunction with Space Management software and reporting software
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
