The Sr. Category Analyst supports the broader account development at Celsius Inc. by providing category, shopper, and brand insights to support strategic objectives and goals of the sales organization. The candidate filling this role should have an innate desire to know “why” and the ability to communicate their findings both effectively and influentially. This role requires a strong knowledge of the CPG/Beverage industry and exceptional story telling skills along with a working knowledge of any tools necessary to complete and present category development projects. Tools used include Syndicated Scan (IRi Unify/Spins/Satori), Numerator, BI Reporting, and retailer specific loyalty and scan data. JDA or any space planning experience is a plus. This role will report to the Category and Shopper Insights lead and interact frequently with both the marketing and Key Accounts teams. The role will be expected to attend and present at customer meetings, working with both buyers and senior employees at the retailer.

Key Job Functions

• Create and maintain dashboards/reporting tools/sell sheets to help execute and track strategy effectiveness
• Track and report to the sales organization on gaps in performance at both the sku/retailer and regional levels
• Strategic and eager to launch and improve the brand and category
• Use data to tell stories in a format that achieves the goals set forth by the category and sales teams.
• Measure and communicate results from promotional activity
• General curiosity to understand the brand and category as well as ways to effect change
• Good customer facing skills, communicates effectively to the audience at hand and able to adapt style and content to fit the needs of the meeting

Qualifications

• Story telling skills using data/analysis
• Skilled in Microsoft suite
• Broad general knowledge of the CPG/Beverage industry
• 2+ years related work experience

o Excel (pivots/basic formulas/formatting)

o PowerPoint (formatting/transitions/effective animations)

o PowerBI

• JDA or equivalent Space Planning experience required

o Blue Yonder or equivalent Space Certifications preferred

• Retailer facing experience preferred
