Expected Work Schedule For The Chicago Campus Minister

• Attendance at several conferences each year, including IFI Staff Retreats
• Full- or part-time, flexible schedule
• Occasional evenings and/or weekends for specific events/projects

Pay Structure For An Chicago Campus Minister

• Pay range is typically between $24,960 and $72,800 after the period of support development, based on experience and other factors
• Training is provided to develop a team of ministry partners
• Requires the development of a ministry partner team which supplies the necessary prayer and financial support to cover salary, benefits, and ministry expenses

About the area and Responsibilities of a Chicago Campus Minister

We are seeking a leader to start our Chicago location. There are so many great schools, such as the University of Chicago, Illinois Institute of Technology, University of Illinois Chicago branch, DePaul University, Art Institute of Chicago, and Loyola University. These schools have a total of about 25,000 international students, which are tomorrow's leaders from all over the world. Chicago is a great place to do international student ministry.

The Chicago Campus Minister Will (list Not All Inclusive)

• Meet regularly with supervisor for input, direction, and counsel; quarterly meet with supervisor to assess achievement of agreed-upon goals; meet with other IFI staff for personal mentoring or training
• Disciple international students through close personal involvement and structured and informal one-on-one times
• Evangelize international students by developing personal relationships, providing one-on-one Bible study encounters, and leading group Bible studies
• Develop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships for the budgeted needs of the role by sharing the vision of the ministry
• Participate in IFI sponsored outreach and special events on campus and develop culture-specific outreaches
• Study International cultures, especially the culture of the people you are or will be serving

Qualifications needed of a Chicago Campus Minister, including Spiritual Characteristics

• Well organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently
• Is faithful, loyal, and dedicated to IFI's mandate from the Lord to extend God's love globally through equipping Christians to be effective cross-cultural communicators of the Gospel
• Ability to work under stress and be flexible
• Enjoys working with people and has strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications
• Be a team player
• Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies

Education/Experience Preferred For a Chicago Campus Minister

• Minimum of one-year involvement in campus ministry or completion of IFI ISEED Program
• Minimum of a Bachelor Degree
