Kids Above All is seeking an HR Assistant for our Higgins office , this is 4 days in the office (Mon-Thurs) and working remotely on Friday’s.
- Enter all new hires into Paylocity and handles any additional changes in Paylocity
- Send out monthly 90-day and annual evaluations.
- Responsible for DCFS – Monthly reports and Quarterly Audits. (Monthly 508’s with new hires 508-1 and 718B’s)
- Maintain Key Performance Indicators for the HR Department.
- Update all Driver’s Licenses, car insurance, and Physical/TB test then send notices to employees when out of compliance.
- Coordinate and execute special assignments and tasks under general supervision
- Create new hire and termination personnel files, create status change forms, and data entry for new hires and terms.
- Revise s
- Prepare for COA every four years.
- Answer and accurately respond to incoming inquires.
- Serve as a liaison at the Higgins office for ID badges, keys, parking passes etc.
- Keep track of training/sign-in sheets and enter all training in Paylocity and create training binders.
- Responsible for managing I-9 Binder & Background clearance binders and any other acknowledgment binders
- Coordinates appointments and meetings for the HR team.
- Secures references, employment, and degree verification for recruiter.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and exercise discretion.
- Responsible for onboarding and offboarding New Hires, Temps., and Interns
- Audit all personnel files for annual audits.
- Perform high level of administrative and clerical duties with minimum supervision
- Provide administrative support and oversight to the entire HR Department
- Participate in DEI Committee.
- Preparing new hire list and agenda and invites for monthly Welcome Experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, able to work well independently, and open to learning new skills
- Minimum of 6 months experience, or HR course work or HR internship required.
- High school diploma or GED required or Associates degree in human resources preferred.
- Must also be a team player, and display a high level of confidentiality
- Must display a professional and positive image and work effectively with all levels of staff
