Responsible for ensuring proper settlement of domestic and foreign securities and derivative trades executed in GWLA's general account, managed separate accounts, and the Great-West Funds. Supports the team staff to complete their tasks by providing coverage or helping create processes to mitigate risk and increase efficiency.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate and process forward foreign currency contract settlements with multiple counterparties.
• Process swap payments, communicating and confirming payment details with counterparties prior to settlement.
• Fund new private placements, communicating with GWLA's traders and legal group.
• Support the Manager, Settlements with resolving complex trade settlement issues, assisting in training new personnel and taking on additional duties as assigned.
• Confirm trades with counterparties. Notify custodian banks of pending trade settlement and ensure that trades settle properly. Trade responsibilities may include the more complex transactions such as processing and tracking TBA's & dollar rolls.
• Review trades and security setups from the team, to ensure accurate processing.
• Duties, Responsibilities & Essential Functions: Ensure internally executed trades flow properly from the Trading System to the Accounting system.
• Perform team support role, including process improvement, testing system upgrades and enhancements, developing trade messages for accounting system, and working with outside vendors for sub advised trade loads.
• Enter daily trade activity, including subadvised trades, into the accounting system. Trade activity includes but is not limited to domestic and foreign securities trades and exchange traded and OTC derivatives.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and support the trading system (Bloomberg AIM/CTM) as the departments subject matter expert

What You Will Bring

• Without a degree, an additional two (2) to four (4)years of directly related experience is required.
• More than four (4) years of directly related experience in the investment administration area of a financial industry firm.
• Senior or Lead role but no direct reports
• Receives general assignments with few instructions and operates with limited independence Financial Responsibility.
• Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. (accounting preferred) Other Preferred Qualifications:

The salary range below shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Base Salary Range

$ 56,200.00-79,375.00
