As the Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships, driving sales growth, and expanding our customer base. Your expertise in developing and executing business strategies, combined with your exceptional leadership skills, will enable you to thrive in this challenging and rewarding role. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and collaborate with senior management to achieve our ambitious business objectives.
Responsibilities
·Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to identify new revenue streams, market segments, and expansion opportunities.
·Lead the sales team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to maximize sales performance and achieve revenue targets.
·Identify and build strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including OEMs, suppliers, and strategic partners.
·Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to align customer needs with our technology roadmap, driving product enhancements and new product development initiatives.
·Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
·Oversee the development and negotiation of contracts, pricing strategies, and business proposals.
·Represent EC Power at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance our brand visibility and foster new business relationships.
Qualifications
·Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. MBA is desired.
·Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles within the automotive or energy industry.
·Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing and motivating a sales team.
·Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
·Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market dynamics, identify trends, and capitalize on business opportunities.
·Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, resulting in revenue growth and market expansion.
·Knowledge of battery technology and the electric vehicle industry is advantageous.
·Willingness to travel as required.
