Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Administrator to join our growing US team. This position is ideal for a recent college graduate in a relevant discipline who is eager to kick-start their career in business administration. As the Business Administrator, you will provide essential support to the organization, assisting with various administrative tasks, coordinating operations, and contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our business.


MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, databases, and filing systems.
  • Support the production of regular and month end financial information, in an accurate and timely manner; Ensure that appropriate control over the company’s AP/AR processes are maintained to support financial outcomes across the company;
  • The production, delivery and analysis of timely management information (both financial and non-financial) to stakeholders across the business;
  • Assist in preparing budgets, monitoring expenses, and identifying areas for cost optimization.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze data from various sources to generate reports and assist in decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of operational procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure that adequate back-up and support are available for other key financial processes, such as payroll and taxes;
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
  • Assist with day-to-day business administrative tasks
  • Help monitor and manage office supplies, inventory, and equipment, ensuring availability and efficiency.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of company events, meetings, and special projects.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence, maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Respond to incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIRNMENTS

  • Ability to analyze, understand, communicate the key business drivers in a financial and operational context;
  • A high degree of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance or related discipline;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels;
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset;
  • Must have an excellent understanding of the entire accounting process including GL, P&L, reconciliation etc, and how they fit within and impact on an organization.
  • Superior organization skills and ability to manage multiple information streams concurrently;
  • Confident and clear communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines;
  • The ability to present complex financial issues concisely, up to a business management level;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment;
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and technologies;\
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications;
