JOB SUMMARY
The Seagram’s Brand Director will deliver long-term, sustainable, profitable, equity-led brand growth along with building Marketing Capability & Performance Culture. The Brand Director will share responsibility for developing the capability and performance culture of all marketing employees and create and execute the brand & innovation strategies, which deliver both sustainable brand equity improvements and agreed commercial outcomes. They will directly coach and mentor their team to deliver individual and team goals, to maximize their professional development, and engage with and inspire a broad group of internal and external stakeholders - including Costa Rica Leadership Team, FUSA cross-functional team members, retailers, wholesalers, agencies, media, and other external partners.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with Trade Marketing to ensure that in-trade execution is consistent with the brand positioning, strategies, and its core creative idea.
- Ensure diligent DME budget control, to ensure accurate monthly reporting and full year actuals being close to (but not exceeding) annual budget.
- Delivery of agreed commercial outcomes (KPI's led by Net Revenue, Brand Contribution), and brand equity improvements (KPI's led by Consideration, HH Penetration, P4W Consumption)
- Develop deep understanding of Seagram's target consumer segments - ensuring insight-driven strategies, plans, and activations / campaigns.
- Actively contribute to the development of company and portfolio strategies and plans.
- Collaborate with CMO / MLT to develop Marketing as a high-performance, diverse & inclusive team - which fosters a collaborative and supportive working environment.
- Be a key contributor and support for innovation concepting, with responsibility for launch execution of approved innovation initiatives.
- Support the sales team in their interactions with wholesalers and key retailers, to inspire confidence and support for Seagram's plans and initiatives.
- Develop a strong understanding of the brand family P&L across the Seagram's team, and initiate corrective action as required to ensure achievement of the brand's financial targets.

- Own the brand positioning and the core creative idea, and champion them across the commercial team to ensure the brand's positioning is consistently and impactfully executed.
- Continuously monitor our brand (& competitors) performance in the market, including post-evaluation of campaigns & initiatives - to create insights which lead to agile course-correction, and intentional experimentation.
- Inspire a performance culture amongst Seagram's team members through high-quality goal setting, 1on1's, competency assessments, IDP's, performance reviews.
- Lead the development of Seagram's brand strategy, in keeping with company & portfolio strategies, and in collaboration with other functions.
- Direct leadership of Seagram's Brand Team & broader shared leadership of Marketing Team capability & culture (KPI's led by: NPS in Employee Survey, Quality of Goals, Competencies, IDP's, Training)
- Actively exhibit a commitment to support a diverse and inclusive work environment
- Maximize the quality & impact of our brand & innovation plans, through outstanding stakeholder engagement which builds ownership, excitement, and belief (KPI's led by: Qualitative Feedback)
- Manage agency partners to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of their deliverables, as well as ensuring strong cross-agency collaboration.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Min 12 years of total professional experience, of which minimum 10 years in a marketing, trade marketing, innovation, sales, insights or strategy planning roles.
- Min 5 years of managerial experience in marketing or trade marketing with responsibility for a complete brand or a group of brands in a defined market and with direct reports
- Minimum BA/BSs with preferred majors in business, marketing, or related.
- Preferred Master's degree in business, marketing, or related.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This can be a remote position. Candidates must operate from Eastern or Central time zones and be able to travel to Buffalo / Rochester by car / plane / train in the morning returning in the evening.
