Job Description

:

  • This person will own content development, execution, and maintenance for the Brand Content team, focusing on the C-Suite audience. This person will build a compelling marketing content and an editorial calendar that caters specifically to the C-Suite audience, including CEOs, CMOs, CIOs, and CDOs. Through strategic messaging and thought leadership, we aim to strengthen the Salesforce brand, positioning ourselves as industry pioneers in AI. Our content will showcase Salesforce's expertise and innovation in AI technology, demonstrating its potential to transform businesses and drive growth. By providing insightful guidance, we will empower our customers to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of new technologies such as generative AI, data analytics, and CRM implementation. This position requires a combination of project management, marketing, and publishing skills. With a mastery in the art and science of content marketing, the C-Suite Content Marketing Lead brings together a love of storytelling and data to create and execute plans that attract new audiences, keep them engaged, and move them into the next stage of the buying journey. You are able to see the big picture and tactically bring plans to life. Holistic Content Planning: Audit our existing C-suite content, develop a plan and editorial calendar, prioritize content needs. Content Creation: Writing and editing content optimized for the web including a quarterly newsletter, digital guides, blog posts, and more. Work with creative teams to bring brand-level content to life. Always keep SEO in mind. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional partners to publish, extend, and connect content across channels. Lead the execution of complex content projects with a team of writers, editors, designers, and digital partners internally and through our content agency. Project Management: Create and manage content project timelines, including development of workback schedules and seeing those projects through to completion. Operations: Own tagging and management of all C-suite content in our CMS tool. Reporting: Analyze content data to identify trends and make actionable optimizations to reach and exceed our goals. You will be equipped to do this on your own, and collaborate with internal analysts.


Qualifications:

  • Pay rate $73-83
  • Experience in content marketing working across different content types and channels, including email newsletters, blog articles, digital guides, research reports, SEO articles, thought leadership, video, podcast, and social
  • Experience with core content measurement metrics
  • Google Suite is a plus not required
  • Portfolio required to submit
  • Content Marketing/Strategy/Execution in the Tech space
  • C-Suite marketing experience
  • Tech industry knowledge or experience
  • Content Operations experience
  • Have exceptional written communication skills, rooted in SEO insights that keep audience interests first
  • SEO experience
  • Email or Newsletter marketing
  • Salesforce is a plus not required
  • Worked in a CMS (Content Management System) to plan and manage content
  • Slack is a plus not required
