Bookkeeper For Vacation Rental Company

Jeff and Gina Properties, a vacation rental management company, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to assist the accountant with monitoring the finances of our growing company. On a daily basis, you will record all financial transactions into the correct general ledger and verify that they are accurate. You will also be responsible for maintaining financial records, completing required tax forms, and generating regular reports. Our ideal candidate has worked as a professional Bookkeeper and has experience managing multiple bank accounts. Xero software experience is a plus. This position is fully remote.

• Input transactions into the correct ledger
• Reconcile multiple bank and other accounts
• Review financial transactions for accuracy.
• Pay vendors & invoices as they come due
• Complete required tax forms for multiple states
• Process owner statements for company & issue payouts

In addition, candidate will assist as needed with online reservations booked through various vacation rental property platforms i.e., VRBO, Airbnb, troubleshoot unit issues by dispatching appropriate vendors, process payments, accurately send all applicable documents via email, keep interactions organized and ensure each is fully handled through follow up. Streamline Vacation Rental software experience is a plus.

Requirements:

• Florida resident
• Willingness to be on call rotating weekends.
• High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite product
• Understand how to balance multiple bank accounts
• High school graduate or equivalent; degree in business administration, accounting finance or relevant field preferred
• Excellent communication and math skills
• Must be multi-task oriented
• Bookkeeping experience required
• The ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
• Experience with Streamline Vacation Rental software a plus
• Exerience with Xero Software a plus

25- 40 hours per week Monday - Friday. Willing to work part-time increasing full-time. Willingness to be on call rotating weekends.

Pay $17/hr
