Banking Center Manager Jobs

SUMMARY

The Banking Center Manager (BCM) oversees the operations of the designated banking center. Exercises executive and administrative control over the functions of the office. Administers the operations of the branch with primary emphasis on risk related to the safety of the bank’s and the client’s information.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES

• Handles customer problems and complaints, and counsels customers with special needs or requests.
• Maintains knowledge of branch policies and procedures.
• Provides backup for all branch functions when necessary.
• Counsels employees when needed.
• Reviews staff members for formal performance evaluations and recommends salary adjustments.
• Establishes and helps to attain internal performance objectives for branch office.
• Manage overall banking center office operations.
• Directs financial institution personnel in activities to ensure prompt, accurate and dependable customer service.
• Generates new and expands existing deposit business.
• Represents the financial institution through excellent customer service.
• Coordinates staff training when needed.
• Maintains banking center operations and staff to ensure smooth opening and closing of office and ensure all security and compliance policy and procedures are adhering too.
• Ensures that banking center employees understand and maintain compliance with Bank policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations, including BSA, AML, and OFAC.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Good working knowledge of other departments in the institution, as they relate to operations.
• Two to four years of banking experience in a financial industry setting.
• Background in financial institution operating policies and procedures, banking regulations, employee development and public relations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Business development.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good management and human resources skills.
