About the team:

The North America Institutional Client Group is responsible for building and managing relationships with US institutional asset owners and investment consultants. Based in New York with regional responsibilities, the team is focused on representing Ninety One’s global investment solutions to public and corporate pension plans, endowments, and foundations.


We are looking for 2 Associates to join us and provide regional sales & relationship management support to clients and consultants in the West and the Mid-West.


In this role you will:

  • Coordinate client requests including regular reporting and ad hoc requests
  • To network with internal and external peers and collect market intel that supports the delivery of core objectives
  • Prepare pitch books, meeting briefings and meeting follow ups
  • Coordinate and prepare RFP and due diligence requests
  • To be an integral part of the sales process, supporting alongside the North American institutional and regional Client Group sales teams
  • Coordinate regular report back meetings and presentations with existing clients
  • Contribute to the preparation of global marketing campaigns, road shows and client events/conferences
  • Utilize Salesforce to maintain and capture sales activity and pipeline management as well as client and market research
  • Assist, develop and distribute targeted marketing materials and thought leadership pieces to our institutional clients
  • To maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services as well as industry trends
  • Conduct research on market trends and individual prospects
  • Working as a team across the North America institutional business, investment teams and with colleagues globally to lead and support our sales effort
  • Organise and prepare colleagues (PMs, Strategists, leadership) for client engagements


You should consider applying if you have:

  • Series 7, 63 will be required within a reasonable time period of joining Ninety One
  • Experience with a direct sales effort around public and/or corporate institutional relationships preferred
  • CFA preferred but not essential
  • Have a passion for investment-led sales process and knowledge of the markets

Expected annual base salary range:

$100,000 - $160,000
