Banking Associate Jobs

Our client is an elite AM 100 US law firm with offices globally seek a junior to mid-level Banking & Finance Associate with strong experience in this area of practice and ideally coming from a peer law firm for a New York based opportunity.

The firm will consider candidates coming from the JD class of 2015-2020.

The role includes but is not limited to advising on;

• Complex private-equity and acquisition financing,
• Bankruptcy exit loans,
• Public offered and private placed high yield,
• Restructurings and refinancing transactions,
• Cross border financing,
• Investment grade convertible notes, and project financing deals.
• Term and revolving credit facilities,
• Unitranche,
• Bridge financing,
• Second lien and mezzanine financing,

You will also be tasked with negotiating and preparing term sheets, commitment papers, credit agreements, collateral documents, and opinions. Managing deal process and working with third parties, including insurance brokers, bankers, and other agents. Reviewing collateral and ensure compliance with the Uniform Commercial Code provisions. Research and advise clients on current trends in the debt markets.

As such, the right individual for this role will have experience in all or most of the above areas.

The salary guideline for this role is $225,000 - $295,000.
