Advertising Copywriter Jobs

Newhouse is seeking an Advertising Copywriter to work on a variety of tasks including pitch decks, video and social content and email marketing campaigns. As copywriter at Newhouse you will be working closely with the creative team to service a variety of clients with on brand, attention grabbing copy.

Responsibilities and requirements:

• Write compelling copy that adheres to clients or brands tone of voice, style guide, or creative brief, communicating thoughts and ideas clearly.
• Develop ongoing Blog editorial content for both the agency and key brand accounts in a variety of consumer facing verticals.
• Have a deep understanding of vernacular of popular social channels and be able to craft copy specific to each platform.
• Ideation. Play an active role in brainstorming with other team members to develop thought provoking concepts and elegant ROI based solutions.
• Help develop written creative briefs based on clients direction, campaign goals and available materials.
• Be able to play an integral role in the drafting of pitch decks and RFP responses, leading not only the copywriting but the development of final concepts.
• Run point on developing compelling agency case studies, white papers and linked in posts to present our work in a relevant and thoughtful way.

Qualifications and experience

• Verifiable experience in copywriting and concepting – work samples required.
• Experience working within an ad agency environment (creative/agency environment is a plus)
• A degree, or similar, in English Literature, Creative Writing or Communications.
