Stratsourcing And Procurement Manager- Marketing, Brand And Pr Sourcing

Sunday Riley is looking to add a talented and driven Sourcing Manager to the team. At Sunday Riley, we work directly with factories, so you need to be comfortable sourcing sustainable factories domestically and internationally to develop on-brand, beautiful products. The sourcing focus is quite diversified across marketing items, cosmetic bags, tools, promotional needs, etc. This is a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, with exciting projects and opportunities to work on.

Responsibilities:

• Works cross functionally with Brand, Planning, Marketing, Sales, Quality Control Department, etc.
• Resolve quality and rejected materials problems to ensure manufacturing has highest quality of materials required.
• Develop annual cost savings, cash improvement, lead time improvement and action plans to deliver Supply Chain improvements.
• Proactively manages supplier relationships including periodic cross functional supplier reviews and/or risk analysis to drive overall supplier improvement.
• Provides Sunday Riley with market intelligence on portfolio items as well as marketplace trends.
• Negotiate and facilitate implementation of new supply agreements and onboarding of new suppliers
• Selects suppliers, negotiates prices, and recommends direction, to obtain the best possible prices while adhering to quality specifications and lead times.
• Works with internal stakeholders and suppliers to identify and deliver on cost savings opportunities annually as well as to develop a pipeline for future savings.
• Develop, lead, and execute sourcing strategies for an assigned portfolio
• Actively supports New Product Development process from concept to production
• Is the subject matter expert in the assigned categories- Marketing, Brand and PR Sourcing (Promotional items, tools, stationary, apparel, etc.)
• Develop RFIs and RFPs that aid in vendor selection

Competencies:

• Able to collect, analyze and interpret data
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of suppliers or employees of the organization
• Strong negotiating skills
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Access, Word; PowerPoint, Outlook, ERP systems.
• Thorough in creating and communicating plans, concepts, and issues to cross functional team members, leaders, and key stakeholders
• Deadline-driven

SOME QUALITIES WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• 5 years of relevant sourcing and/or procurement experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training.
