Job Summary

We’re looking for a bright, motivated, self-driven, deadline-oriented, highly organized individual to lead our Operations Team. The Amazon Project Manager is responsible for managing logistical and operational aspects of the business. This includes inventory management at our partner warehouses and at Amazon Fulfillment Centers. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the logistics space as well as standard operational procedures in e-commerce. They need to communicate clearly in written and oral form & manage a small warehouse team, as well as two remote data analysts. The individual has to be able to develop process improvements and drive them through to completion. Proficiency with Amazon Seller Central is required.

Knowledge of Project Management practices is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities

● Ensure optimal inventory allocation across fulfillment centers to meet business targets and achieve high inventory performance and sell-through

● Maintain detailed oversight of inventory usage and storage

● Conduct strategic planning and execution of all inbound & outbound shipments, to ensure efficient and optimized transportation of merchandise across the domestic fulfillment network

● Oversee logistical partner relationships

● Ensure all Amazon USA marketplace compliance requirements are met with rigor and diligence, e.g. Amazon Account Health, FBA Inventory Performance Index, etc.

● Manage Customer Service Analyst

● Collaborate with Lead Buyer and Amazon Strategic Project Manager (Strategic) to ensure projected demand and inventory needs are met diligently

● Analyze inventory reports to track and oversee movement of stock

● File claims promptly to secure reimbursements from Amazon for shipment losses

● Manage warehouse staff, including assignment of duties and provision of targets to motivate and inspire the team on the ground

● Coordinate and supervise assembly of gift sets

● Oversee shipment and receiving of all merchandise

● Conduct quarterly inventory count / stock-take

Requirements

● Full-time position

● This position is a hybrid role - The ideal candidate will be required to be on-site 3 times a week on average (or more, during peak preparation periods)

● The candidate needs to be based in New York City, and easily able to commute to Nassau County, Long Island

● Experience with Amazon Seller Central & relevant experience working on Amazon Operations

● Management experience in operations, preferably in beauty, or other similar industries

● General business acumen including understanding of accrual accounting

● Proficient with Google Sheets, Excel, as well as Project Management Tools (Clickup preferred)

● Ability to be entrepreneurial and methodical

● Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team

● Collaborative mindset with strength in effectively receiving and communicating feedback

● Excellent written and verbal communication & leadership skills; high interpersonal aptitude
