Position: Manager - eCommerce - North America


Location: New York, USA (Metro Area)


Job Summary:


The Ecommerce business at LifeStyles is growing and a key pillar to the strategic direction of the company. The Manager, eCommerce NA is responsible for the management of the Ecommerce business and execution of the company’s Ecommerce strategy in North America. In this role, your main responsibilities are to ensure operational excellence by implementing Ecommerce best practices throughout the retail process, driving brand growth, and increasing market share.


You will also oversee managing our Ecommerce expansion strategy into new channels and deliver a unified customer experience, on Amazon and other online channels. Your expertise in Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central, along with a deep understanding of holistic marketplace selling best practices, will be crucial in achieving our strategic objectives.


This role demands a strong analytical mindset and a data-driven approach to decision-making to optimize our Ecommerce performance and ensure continued success in the rapidly evolving business. The role reports to Global VP, Omnichannel and resides in the North America Ecommerce team.


Responsibilities:


Drive Brand Growth and Market Share:

  • Develop and execute Ecommerce strategies to increase brand presence, customer engagement, and market share in North America.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand our presence in existing marketplaces and explore potential entry into new ones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product management, to align Ecommerce initiatives with overall business objectives.

Operational Excellence in Marketplace Management:

  • Design and execute holistic marketplace selling strategies focusing on an omnichannel customer experience that maximizes revenue and profitability.
  • Collaborate closely with agency and internal partners for both operations and company marketing to align digital marketing initiatives with Ecommerce objectives and improve online customer experience.
  • Implement and maintain best practices across all marketplaces (pure play Ecommerce, retailer.com, DTC, etc.), leveraging all stages of the growth pyramid and marketing funnel.
  • Manage and oversee operations within Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central platforms, ensuring optimal product listings, inventory management, pricing strategies, and catalog management.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Ecommerce landscape, including but not limited to various online marketplaces, direct-to-consumer channels, social commerce platforms, and last mile delivery services.

Leverage Strong Analytical Capabilities:

  • Make data-driven recommendations to optimize content, marketing campaigns, product assortment, pricing, and promotional efforts.
  • Set goals, define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop actionable reports to track Ecommerce performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Utilize data analysis tools and leverage internal partner team’s insights from sales data, customer behavior, market trends, performance marketing, and more to make optimal decisions.


Requirements + Qualifications:

  • Experience in a startup or high growth brand is a plus.
  • Experience driving performance marketing strategy and execution is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in driving brand growth and increasing market share through Ecommerce channels.
  • In-depth knowledge of holistic Ecommerce best practices and the ability to apply them effectively.
  • Expertise in Ecommerce monitoring tools, platforms, and digital “tech stack” development.
  • Experience in a “sensitive” product category is a plus.
  • Results-driven, with a proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving; high degree of ownership and accountability; unrelenting high standards for yourself and your teammates; voracious desire to learn new things.
  • 3+ years of experience managing Amazon Vendor Central/FBA businesses required.
  • 2+ years’ experience with Shopify, social commerce, and last mile services is a plus.
  • Minimum 5-years’ experience within Ecommerce; CPG or Health and Wellness Ecommerce experience highly desired.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and utilizing insights to make data-driven decisions.
