Pay Rate
Pay Rate for this Job is $13 / hour
What you'll be doing as aAccounting Assistant - Accounts Receivable (A/R):

• Maintain tax exemption certificates for customers
• Research payment inquiries from customers and account clean up
• Upload customer invoices into SAP and other client portals
• Process daily bank deposit through remote check reader
• Properly code, enter and balance month end credit memos and adjustments
• Take high volume of customer phone calls that can include processing credit card and ACH payments
• Daily posting of high volume of checks received in the mail
• Balance and reconcile daily credit card batches in Excel
• Process special billing for certain industrial accounts at month end
• Process credit applications for new accounts
• Balance and reconcile all deposits for the month in QuickBooks, Excel, and industry specific software
• Run monthly customer statements at month end
• Log on to bank account daily to retrieve customer ACH deposits and record in Excel
• Responsible for collection calls and reducing delinquency on accounts
• Enter daily deposits into QuickBooks and Excel then balance with industry specific software
• Update and maintain customer accounts

Available Shifts
Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day) (Monday-Friday 8AM to 5PM)
Job Requirements

• 2 to 3 years' experience in accounts receivable with high-volume payment posting and collections

Intermediate to proficient in Excel is a must

• Manage high call volume with courtesy and professionalism

Ability to manage high volume of customer emails

• Excellent verbal and writen communication abilities

Strong atention to detail, goal oriented

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities

Ability to multitask and work with interruption

• Background Check Required
