What Will I be Doing?
The Accountant Portfolio Services performs accounting functions associated with the recording of transaction and production of financial statements for assigned business units, including payroll, general accounting, payable and cash. Provide accounting support to various shared services departments.
You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Filing and maintaining accounting records to include but not limited to Journal Entries and Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Work effectively with team members within Accounting and across departments to effect changes and complete special projects required as part of company-wide goals and objectives.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations related to assigned entities. Determine correcting entries for reconciling items.
- Prepare and record journal entries per established policy related to assigned entities
- Assist the leadership team in performing monthly closings process
- Perform ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and modeling as requested by the management.
- Assists auditors with analysis and reporting
- Verify that data presented is accurate and complete.
- Provides the highest quality of service to customers and staff at all times
- Review bank reconciliations associated with assigned business units and record journal entries to clear outstanding items
- Document processes and procedures for the assigned functions
- Maintain and monitor various schedules as required by management

To fulfill this role successfully, you possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- Good working knowledge of ERP system
- 0-3 Years of related experience
- Self-motivated, self-starter, and detail oriented
- Proficient Excel skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
