Sr Tax Accountant (Remote)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary
Responsible for all aspects of taxation – compliance, planning, forecasting, M&A evaluation, expense, liability and asset recordation, SEC and statutory reporting disclosure, ASC740, FIN 48 and SFAS 123R reporting and disclosure, SOX 404 compliance, respond to tax agency inquiries and audits, research tax issues, financial audit response and coordination for tax matters.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Prepares and files federal, state, and local consolidated/combined corporate income tax returns including preparation of supporting work papers.
Assists with preparation of quarterly and annual GAAP and statutory tax provisions including calculation of effective tax rate, permanent and temporary differences, and return to provision adjustments.
Analyzes tax payable accounts quarterly and works closely with A/P manager and plan accountants to ensure timely posting and payment of intercompany tax payments.
Performs analyses of deferred tax liabilities and assets and related financial statement disclosures.
Prepares and maintains company-wide state apportionment schedules.

Pay Range: $54,922 - $107,099
