2. Purpose of the Job

(What contribution/impact does the job have to the success of DyStar?)

 Responsible for various tax filing and record keeping

 Process payroll entry including month end accrual analysis for various benefit invoice

reconciliation

 Assist with internal & External audits

3. Job Tasks and Business Decisions

Describe (8-10) single most important oriented and constantly performed tasks / responsibilities.

 Own process of state sales and use tax return filing, including communication with tax

authorities

 Scan, index, and file all returns and reconciliations on a timely manner

 Research and resolve state sales tax issues and provide audit support for any scheduled

sales and use tax audits

 Classify and code routine accounting data, preparing payroll related journal entries

 Reconciling various accrual accounts withing different entities among the groups and make sure invoice payments are traced against those appropriately

 Perform additional special accounting projects as needed

4. Required Experience regarding the job

 Min. 5+ years of related experience, ideally with manufacturing accounting experience

 B.S Degree in Accounting of related field and a CPA candidate is highly desirable

 Team-oriented, deadline-driven with excellent analytical and organizational skills required, proficiency in office suites software

 Experience with accounting and operating systems such as SAP, Chempax, Solomon, and

QuickBook

5. Business Impact of the Job on Key Figures

Timely and accurate of tax filing to ensure corporate compliance. Accurate payroll related analysis to support different Business Units’ operating activity decision.

 Ensure compliance of local and federal tax rules

 Assist accounting manager on month end closing procedures

 Analyse budgets, expenses by department and provide process improvement suggestion as needed

 Work on projects involving finance and accounting

 Work on Audits
