This position is a remote position with required general office hours (Mon Fri); some evenings and/or weekends are required to complete project work and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate must be able to carry out the same duties, assignments, and all work obligations at their home office free from distraction and in accordance with policy.


This key contributor will apply solid skills and experience in this hands-on role to include:


  • Assist and coordinate audit information and requests.
  • Preparing and posting journal entries as required.
  • Any other task as assigned.
  • Assisting with various administrative tasks and projects as assigned
  • Follow established Company policies and procedures.
  • Tracking lender reporting requirements.
  • Reconciling bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger.
  • Assisting with various administrative tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process.
  • Supporting the Accounts Payable department.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous manner with a customer service aptitude.
  • Preparing and maintaining corporate bill-back schedules.
  • Researching problems as required.
  • Preparing final monthly financial reporting in accordance with deadlines and requirements.
  • Preparing replacement reserve draw requests.
  • Ensure all documentation is stored and organized on shared company drives, or as outlined by senior management.


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:


  • Able to work well under pressure, establish priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager, Resman, and Nexus payables is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills, research and resolution skills, and attention to detail are required.
  • Employment Experience
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately.
  • Accounting Degree/Accounting Degree in progess
  • Multifamily industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong oral/written communication skills.
  • Positive, proactive work ethic and approach.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and/or drug testing.
  • Customer service approach to duties.
  • Flexible and able to multitask.
  • Yardi experience is highly preferred.
  • Solid experience in MS office products with excellence in Excel and other accounting platforms.
