Senior Accountant - International (Remote Us)

• Support the month end close process, including assistance and preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and preparation of the monthly reporting package
• Assist in the compilation of monthly variance explanations for finance for trends, budgeting, and forecasting. Analyze account trends and review accounts for errors, preparing adjustments when needed
• Assist with the compilation and support requests for external audits including statutory audits
• Perform other duties as required
• Assist in the preparation and completion of ad hoc management reporting
• Support operational accounting functions, including accounts Receivable, accounts payable and inventory
• Monthly balance sheet and P&L preparation, review, analysis, and reporting
• Responsible for accurate reporting of financial transactions including but not limited to inventory, cash, fixed assets, accruals, and other keys accounts
• Assist in the development of new or amended accounting procedures and policies

• Must have experience leading audit annual cycles or audit firm experience
• Must have knowledge and understanding of IFRS
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, required
• Must have Intercompany Accounting experience
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, required
• Major ERP system preferred, advanced Excel knowledge required
• Public accounting preferred but not required, CPA or equivalent a plus
• Auditing skills and ability to reconcile difficult accounts is a plus
• Thorough understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles, required
