POSITION CONCEPT
The Account Manager, Inside Sales provides professional assistance to all TECO Partners new and existing residential natural gas customers. This work will involve extensive contact with customers, TECO employees, subcontractors and gas advantage dealers. Also facilitates all inbound calls in support of company efforts to increase sales of natural gas and other energy related services and may perform outbound telemarketing projects.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for adding new residential natural gas customers, within the TECO Peoples Gas service areas.
- Assist in T.P.I.’s new customer growth efforts, existing customer retention efforts, and former customer reactivation efforts.
- Primarily responsible for selling/promoting applicable TECO Partners marketing programs.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Facilitates all aspects of the transaction to provide gas services for new, existing and former residential customers .
- Responsible for inbound and outbound telephone calls to existing, potential and former residential customers.
- Responsible for customer inquiries and requests.
- Coordinates work with TECO employees, builders, subcontractors and gas advantage dealers.
- Responsible for communicating the company’s approved residential Energy Conservation rebate program.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
Experience
Direct/Related Experience
Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience related to the Duties & Responsibilities of this position.
Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of direct work experience performing the Duties & Responsibilities of this position.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSA)
Required: Must be able to communicate effectively, professionally and courteously in situations that are often sensitive and emotionally laden.
Preferred: Knowledge of TECO Partners marketing and rebate programs.
