Configuration management and security for macOS and iOS

Classified Computing Continual Service Improvement (3CSI) program management

Apply organization knowledge and experience to independently judge work quality, performance, and alignment of results with customer expectations

Experience leading and executing enterprise IT projects, including classified capabilities

Has full management responsibility for direct reports, specifically the authority to hire, fire, and counsel

Manage and direct a team of employees, directly and through other managers

Manage enterprise applications – responsible for the strategic direction and execution of application projects to ensure high quality and timely deliverables

Produce metrics and information to measure usage to predict capacities and measure service levels

Promote common IT initiatives at the university and college level to ensure university-wide consistency where appropriate.

Ensure that security protocols are implemented and monitored throughout the college.

Experience with a project management software and a ticketing system.

Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Working technical knowledge of Microsoft Visio.

Minimum 5 years management experience

Guides and manages staff group; answers staff questions; provides project management direction and scheduling to meet established project goals.

Implements IS project methodology guidelines and standards and manages the process to ensure project success.

Coordinates systems activities with other IS managers.

Facilitates the creation of a team environment by providing strong mentoring skills and interdepartmental communications.

Utilizes technical expertise when troubleshooting, isolating, diagnosing and resolving common network problems within Local Area Network (LAN).

Analyzes and resolves technical problems for end users.

Create and administer Active Directory accounts and agency email (create/delete accounts, troubleshoot and train).

Administers VoIP phone system (password resets, voicemail boxes, phone builds).

Orders new phone lines and repairs to existing lines as needed.

Prepares, presents and/or coordinates computer, network and applications training for staff and also for new hires in small group sessions.

Manages and triages help desk database and user support requests.

Knowledge of current trends in the specific field.

Demonstrated experience with standard software applications, including MS Office, Windows. Must have a strong dedication to customer service.

Active US SECRET security clearance with IAM Level 2 certification.

Active Computing Environmental certification such as Linux+, CCNA, or other.

3-5 years experience in a technical role (user support, technical compliance, system administration, etc.) at an accredited USG facility.

Practical experience with automation tools including Powershell and Python.

Scale our infrastructure by creatively implementing automated solutions.

Oversight, performance management, and development of MVH IT EPMO Project Managers.

Oversight of Programs with Project Management as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Digital Technology, or related field is required.

10+ years of experience working as an IT Project Manager or Program Manager is required.

Direct oversight of the MVH IT EPMO Project Managers to provide individual development and performance management opportunities.

Develop the foundation to centralize project management at the MVH level.

Knowledge of SOX regulations, compliance requirements, and control frameworks.

Collaborate with the compliance team to understand the SOX requirements and control objectives.

Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Basic knowledge of IT processes and systems.

Collaborate with the quality assurance team to support testing methodologies, standards, and processes.

Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

One (1) year of full-time experience performing desktop computer system and network installation, operation, and maintenance functions.

Provide specialized technical assistant to system users for desktop computer systems equipment including hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.

Set up, configure, and maintain desktop systems and printers.

Diagnose and correct problems with computers and communication hardware and software.

Install and maintain computer system hardware and software.

Experience in developing analytical tools and data pipelines for management reporting and performance metrics is desirable.

Integrates and monitors the implementation of the performance management framework across the supply chain network and operations.

Experience with programming languages such as SQL and Python, C# or equivalent is desirable.

Experience understanding and developing SQL queries in a Customer Information System (CIS)
