Information Systems Intern Jobs

The Role: As an IT Intern specializing in Quality Assurance, SOX Documentation and Enablement Materials, the individual will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), ensuring quality assurance processes, and developing enablement materials for IT-related initiatives and work closely with the IT team, including compliance officers, quality assurance specialists, and trainers, to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and facilitate effective communication and training.

The ideal candidate is someone seeking experience in an IT and or Finance organization with the following skills:

Data Migration and Validation Support:

• Assist in the reconciliation of the financial information from our existing accounting process to new financial model. Working closely with the IT and Finance team
• Assist in support of the data migration of our multi-year project to convert ~400 contracts into our new process model. Validating the data is loaded properly into our systems of record.

Quality Assurance:

• Assist in the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Assist in analyzing test data to identify patterns, trends, and potential areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to support testing methodologies, standards, and processes.
• Document test results, defects, and other relevant information using appropriate tools or systems.

SOX Documentation:

• Assist in documenting and maintaining SOX controls, processes, and procedures.
• Validate document for evidence to support periodic reviews.
• Collaborate with the compliance team to understand the SOX requirements and control objectives.

• Basic knowledge of IT processes and systems.
• Knowledge of SOX regulations, compliance requirements, and control frameworks.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with quality assurance concepts, methodologies, and testing techniques.
