Federal Employee Relations Specialist Jobs

Healthcare, benefits, call center, claims processing or Facets experience (Preferred)

One (1) year previous customer service experience (Required)

Two (2) years of college level courses or two (2) years’ work experience with phone related customer service (Preferred)

Helps to maintain a positive employee relations climate by proactively providing guidance to managers and responding to employee inquiries.

Works collaboratively with employees and departmental leadership in carrying out their responsibilities on employee relations matters.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Escalate complex Employee Relations matters to Employee Relations Leadership as needed.

Assists in communication of policies and procedures.

Stays current on employment law. Proactively researches information to ensure compliance, provide appropriate consultation, and avoid/eliminate exposure to the organization.

Knowledge of HR programs and processes (e.g., performance management, workforce planning, talent management and employment laws)

·Have previously held roles such as: Performance Manager, Talent Development, Employee Relations Specialist, and/or Employee Relations Partner/Manager.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of minimum and maximum for this position is

$40/hr. to $45/hr. on W2.

Minimum $59,108 Annually - Midpoint $73,891 Annually

Participates in the development and delivery of management training programs designed to advance the labor relations skills of the Company.

Strong organizational and time-management skills; detail-oriented and able to deliver quality work on deadlines.

Partners with the Director of HR regarding the Performance Management process and implementation.

Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills and able to learn new systems; experience with G-Suite preferred.

Maintain knowledge of labor/union issues and best practices in order to promote positive labor relations.

Provides advice and counsel to frontline supervisors and managers regarding Labor Relations issues.

Case management and Zendesk exp. would pe preferable but not a requirement

Able to work with Managers and other stakeholders too

Must have ER investigations experience

Someone who has working as a HR Manager and having an exp. with Employee relations would be work

Provides expert consultative and problem solving services to managers, employees and other HR functions regarding HR policies and practices.

Self-starter with multitasking experience within a fluid, dynamic environment, including ability to manage time and resources

2+ years of previous HR experience in Labor Relations

1+ years Microsoft Office Excel and Microsoft Outlook experience

Strong oral and written communication skills

Facilitate and administer employee relations matters including performance management, grievances, leaves of absence, accommodations, and exit interviews.

Assist employees and managers with inquiries regarding employment, benefits, policies, and compensation.

Develop strong work relationships with Managers to provide guidance on hiring, promotions, performance feedback, disciplinary actions, and terminations.

Participate in employee relations activities such as new hire orientation and benefits meetings.

Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations for US and International compliance.

Minimum of three (3) years of Human Resources Generalist experience, particularly in employee relations.

ob Qualifications – Education and Experience

EEOC intake/administrative and case management support

Minimum of 2 years of high volume employee relations experience or managerial experience in hospitality or retail.

Knowledge of employment laws such as FLSA, FMLA, ADA, AAP, etc.

Intermediate MS Office skills including Excel, Word and Power Point

Strong customer service and problem-solving skills

Experience using case management systems (i.e. Navex, Salesforce) preferred.

Crucial Experience and Job Requirements:

United States of America - Remote

Recommend operations practices vital to establish a positive Guest experience.

Knowledge of human resource policies/procedures and understanding of federal employment/labor laws (i.e. ADAAA, FMLA, FLSA, etc.)

Problem solving, conflict resolution, listening and advising skills.

Gaming or tech industry experience, or working with creative groups is desirable.

Certification in workplace investigations or membership in a workplace investigators association is also a plus.

Leverage quantitative and qualitative data insights to drive creative, amicable and equitable solutions to employee relations concerns

Conduct fair and impartial investigations that reflect current law and regulations to a wide range of employee relations concerns

Legal training, a Juris Doctor degree or a licensed attorney in any US jurisdiction is a plus.
