7 years minimum relevant DEI, event planning, & client engagement work experience

Sophisticated skills in Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Experience analyzing and interpreting data and translating analyses into insightful & useful recommendations

Capability to quickly build trust & rapport with key business stakeholders, and internal and external partners

Ability to travel (up to 20%)

Define and establish clear roles and responsibilities, scope, and service delivery model for DEI business partners

Experience leading large-scale diversity initiatives for a dynamic global organization

Display a deep understanding and expertise of DE&I and knowledge of global trends

Experience building global teams and engagement models with HR and the business

Leadership experience with a proven track record of building and executing effective organizational strategies and transformations

Strong collaboration skills across HR and business functions

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum of 3 years of administrative work experience required

Experience creating high-quality presentations using PowerPoint is required

Experience working with budgets is strongly preferred

Previous Nike work experience is a plus

Ability to work and communicate effectively with a variety of personalities including senior level executives

Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven (7) years of professional-level experience related to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

This position is management service, non-supervisory and not represented by a union.

Professional experience of equity and inclusion principles and cultural competencies, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action laws and regulations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maneuver difficult and sensitive conversations with individuals and groups.

Basic knowledge of online survey tools.

Experience facilitating meetings and work groups fostering healthy dialogue while also driving toward decision-making.

Knowledge of and/or Skills in:

Master’s Degree with an emphasis in Education and/or Teaching Bilingual and/or biliterate (Spanish preferred)

Five (5) years of successful teaching experience Experience developing and delivering equity and inclusion professional development

Experience leading and applying equity principles to transform institutional culture

Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with community agencies

Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or district-approved religious or medical exemption

Ten years of experience developing programs collaboratively that advance diversity education, multicultural awareness, and address the needs of underrepresented populations.

Develop annual budgeting to ensure appropriateness of fund requests. Manage the budget throughout the year.

Two or more years’ experience providing supervision

Experience leading workers’ compensation and/or other property/casualty insurance functions

Five or more years of high-level strategic planning experience desired.
