Who we are looking for


We're seeking an expert DEI Partnerships Management Lead to support our key external Partnerships and Strategic Engagements within our broader Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) team. As a Partnerships Lead, you'll be deeply embedded in our DEI and representation strategies. We need someone who is passionate about amplifying our DEI initiatives internally and externally with a deep understanding of program and client management. This role will develop relevant solutions and support the execution of key activations. The ideal candidate will have prior knowledge of DEI, event planning, and client management.


What you will work on


In this role, you are as the primary contact for external DEI strategic engagements such as OneTen, We Are All Human, The Asian American Foundation (TAAF), and others serving Nike's broader DEI commitments. You will lead the execution of external partner activations related to diversity representation and retention goals for key Underrepresented Groups (URGs). You will partner collaboratively and cross-functionally with HR, Technology, Senior Business Leaders across functions, Communications, Marketing/Brand, Retail, and our Employee Resource Groups (NikeUNITED) to build effective solutions to infuse diverse talent into the recruiting pipeline and amplify employee development offerings. You will help to curate specialized events and programs that serve enterprise DEI objectives and enable business groups to progress on their goals. You will be the subject matter authority for external partner engagement specific to DEI initiatives.


Who you will work with


This role is embedded in our Diversity Talent Innovation team within the global DEI function. You will work collaboratively and cross-functionally with HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning and Development, etc., and Senior Functional Business Leaders, Legal, Communications, Marketing/Brand, Retail, and our Employee Resource Groups (NikeUNITED) to drive partnership engagement and program activations. You'll work closely with the larger Global DEI team to ensure consistency with the broader DEI strategy.


What you bring


REQUIRED:


  • Capability to quickly build trust & rapport with key business stakeholders, and internal and external partners
  • Sophisticated skills in Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data and translating analyses into insightful & useful recommendations
  • Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and balancing multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time timelines and within budget parameters
  • Strong cross-team collaboration skills coupled with an understanding of how to influence geographically dispersed teams, using outstanding storytelling abilities and presentation skills
  • 7 years minimum relevant DEI, event planning, & client engagement work experience
  • Ability to travel (up to 20%)
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or a combination of demonstrable experience, education, and training
