Who We Are Looking For


We're seeking a Sr Director, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Business Partner, Global Functions, to help us lead the reimagination of the DEI Business Partner function at Nike and own the translation of the DEI components of the People Team strategy to individual business units at Nike. You will partner with HR and business leaders to form and drive outstanding strategies across business functions, ensuring diversity and inclusion are embedded throughout the entire business. You will create, plan, communicate, and implement essential diversity & inclusion programs and critical initiatives.


What You Will Work On


  • Analyze data and insights to identify, understand, and articulate the key inputs and metrics that show progress against the roadmap
  • Identify, evaluate, and engage critical external partners to extend the principles, objectives, and values of the DE&I strategy beyond the enterprise and into the community
  • Develop and deliver scalable DE&I plans across the Nike corporate business
  • Construct an internal and external communications plan that engages our global workforce and reinforces our focus on being a phenomenal place to work
  • Define and establish clear roles and responsibilities, scope, and service delivery model for DEI business partners
  • Develop and maintain critical internal partnerships with Global Community Impact (GCI), Corporate Communications, Government and Public Affairs, Legal, and HR
  • Own and steward the planning, monitoring, and reporting of the annual portfolio of DE&I initiatives, ensuring the strategy is amplified throughout the business
  • Partner closely with the larger Diversity & Inclusion Nike team to ensure alignment across the enterprise
  • Build, communicate, and lead all aspects of a multi-year set of annual operating plans to deliver the initiatives, programs, and projects underpinning the DE&I strategy


What You Bring


  • Results-oriented self-starter who demonstrates comfort with ambiguity and can excel in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Skilled in organizational consulting
  • Experience leading large-scale diversity initiatives for a dynamic global organization
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field
  • Ability to build a strong network and bring to bear resources and relationships to accomplish goals
  • Display a deep understanding and expertise of DE&I and knowledge of global trends
  • Strong collaboration skills across HR and business functions
  • Typically requires 10+ years of dynamic work experience in a people strategy function with 7-8 years of direct expertise in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
  • Leadership experience with a proven track record of building and executing effective organizational strategies and transformations
  • Experience building global teams and engagement models with HR and the business
  • Ability to influence a broad group of partners and senior leaders
