Pay: $71,305.00 - $113,285.00 per year

Codes and edits information for research projects for entry into data management system.

Position Title: Community and Public Health Partnership Project Manager – Health Equity and Strategy Office

Minimum of 5-10 years of public health experience at the national, state, and/or local level

Knowledge of consensus-building approaches that foster public-private partnership between CBOs, the private sector, and state and local public health departments

Manages project administration, including budgeting, timelines, reporting, contracting, technical content development, and evaluation

Reports to: Senior Program Officer or other department lead

Experience in successfully using project management tools to bring projects to completion.

Methods and models for project management.

Create educational materials, reports, and plans to support programs and advance the work of SHIP.

Collaborate with the SHIP coordinator to support project, budget, and reporting requirements.

How racial equity skills can be applied in public health.

Experience in participatory decision-making and/or consensus-building techniques.

People management and leadership skills to mentor staff for personal development and encourage team-oriented collaboration.

Experience with government contracting and leading teams to respond to RFP/RFI/RFQ for Federal, State and Philanthropic opportunities.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills.

Proven ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.

Expertise in community health related work particularly in Maternal and Child Health

This position is Unclassified management and, as such, serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority.

Plans, organizes, and directs the operations of the Community Health Promotion Division for assigned program areas.

Experience coordinating strategic communications and health education.

Reviews and develops health education materials to enhance health literacy and suitability for diverse audiences.

Assures culturally appropriate heath education materials are available in multiple languages.

Works with publications and design, and other external contractors as needed, to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate and engaging educational materials.

Provides consultation on community outreach, education, and engagement for program partners, and state and local agencies.

Manages materials inventory and distribution.

Master's degree in a related field or BA/BS with related equivalent experience.

Community Health Worker Certification preferred.

6. Leverages system operations to advance patient and community health.

5+ years of experience in Human Resources or related field, with healthcare and project management experience preferred.

Process development, project management and/or M&A experience is required.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Develops operating procedures, project plans and tools for end-to-end transaction management.

Manages HR due diligence and integration planning to support practices through consecutive and concurrent acquisitions, ensuring timely completion.

Makes recommendations for job mapping, benefit / perk comparison, and compensation mapping, in partnership with key stakeholders on the project.

Understanding of public health principles, programming and management practices

Seven (7) years of increasingly responsible professional experience in public health, community health or other related health agency

Five (5) years of experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity

Demonstrated decision-making ability and problem solving skills

Communicate highly complex information to people with varying levels of knowledge
