New York State Public Health Corps Fellow - Community Health Educator

Community Health Educator – (Fellow Level, Bachelors preferred)

An individual in the Community Health Educator role with be responsible for data analysis, social media, and education initiative activities including:

• Examining current communication materials to ensure the materials meet clear communication best practices and offer suggestions to improve such materials
• Administrative support work including but not limited to MWBE research and support.
• Conducting data analysis, developing data visualizations related to social media presence as well as the Community Health Assessment and Improvement Plan data
• Assisting in the development of procedures to review communication materials systematically
• Attending stakeholder meetings and participate in relevant subcommittee meetings
• Assisting with the development of audio and/or video Public Service Announcements with relevant stakeholders
• Assisting with the organization and promotion of events, such as Walk with a Doc events
• Other duties as needed
• Creating and maintaining social media infographics, posts, and educational materials for Health Initiative programs and partnerships. Including messaging for targeted populations as well as effective distribution

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 per hour
