The Role:

MarketCast’s Product Management team is looking for a VP or SVP of Product to oversee product development and management of our Data Science & Brand Solutions products. The near-term product scope of this role will include: 1) our next gen brand tracker, 2) our social analytics offering, and 3) our attribution offering. Additionally, this role will be responsible for developing and maintaining our data partnership strategy across our product portfolio. Over time, you will help evolve our overall product vision and strategy, and lead the expansion and innovation of our product offerings in your area in line with that vision. This role requires the ability to communicate cross-functionally and build partnerships with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Data Science and Research functions.


The Responsibilities:

  • Drive execution and partner with engineering, design, data science and other teams within the organization to deliver products that maximize customer value.
  • Meet with customers and other key stakeholders in order to represent the voice of the customer when defining product requirements
  • Manage and mentor product team members aligned to your area
  • Own and define the product strategy and product definition for Marketcast’s Data Science & Brand Solutions products
  • Identify and coordinate cross-product opportunities that maximize the value of our products and technology.
  • Support research and commercial teams by providing product information and demos
  • Own and define roadmaps for products in your area
  • Work cross-functionally to determine the products’ business model and pricing strategies
  • Be the trusted advisor during customer interactions and events
  • Define and analyze metrics in collaboration with our data science, research, and engineering teams to inform the success of your products.
  • Own development and launch of MarketCast Data Science & Brand Solutions Products including translating needs into requirements, identifying user personas and developing user stories
  • Collaborate with product marketing to define and deliver go-to-market strategy
  • Communicate and reinforce the strategy across key stakeholders, including executive leadership


What we are looking for:

  • Experience conducting business analysis, defining workflows and building wireframes
  • Experience managing teams using agile/scrum methodologies.
  • Have 10+ years of product management experience
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or related field; advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
  • Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar
  • Strong team development and mentoring experience in managerial roles within product organizations
  • Deep technical product experience including hands-on development and management of technology-enabled products
  • Strong understanding of the brand and measurement marketplace; broader experience in products with underlying quantitative research and data science capabilities highly desired
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability, and availability.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to identify solutions

Per the pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is $175,000.00 to $200,000.00. As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skill-set, and any other factors MarketCast considers relevant to the hiring decision.
