$170-230k Cotopaxi is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Global Wholesale to lead and drive growth in our wholesale business worldwide. This role requires a deep understanding of wholesale operations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand our customer base and increase revenue. Responsibilities Job Responsibilities (How You’ll Do It): Develop and implement a global wholesale and international distributor strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Drive revenue growth through the development of new customer relationships and the expansion of existing ones. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the wholesale and international distributor businesses, including managing the sales team and setting sales targets. Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for growth in existing and new markets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of wholesale initiatives. Manage the budget for the wholesale and international distributor businesses and optimize spending to maximize return on investment. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners. Lead and inspire a high-performing team, including hiring, training, and providing ongoing feedback and support. Represent the company at trade shows and industry events. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing the wholesale business. The Ideal Candidate (What You Need to Succeed): Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin/Marketing or a related field; MBA preferred. 10+ years of experience in wholesale sales and operations, in the outdoor apparel and equipment industry, with a focus on global markets. Proven track record of driving revenue growth (over $50m) and expanding customer base in a wholesale business. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute complex initiatives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders. Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and partners. Requirements Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. 10+ years of experience in wholesale sales and operations, specifically in the outdoor apparel and equipment industry. Extensive experience working with key accounts including REI, Dicks Sporting Goods and Scheels. A track record of driving revenue growth (over $50m) and expanding customer base in a wholesale business.
