Director / Vp Finance Level - Head Of Finance

Well-established biopharma in Boston Area is seeking a Head of Finance. (Sr Dir, VP level)

The organization is very well-funded (multiple years) so the only challenge is for them to execute on the mission of saving lives. The organization has multiple projects and multiple partners. Their unique positioning makes this a very key role for them.

The HoF will oversee all accounting, finance, budgets, treasury, controls, data/systems, planning, etc. The role will often need to go beyond the normal financial duties, working collaboratively with leadership and operations, as well as the Board.

Reporting to the COO of the org, you'll have a team of finance and accounting professionals to manage and develop.

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

• Strong leadership qualities: mentoring, collaborating, communicating, relationship building, strategic
• 15-25+ years of finance and accounting exp
• Biotech / Pharma industry experience, both R&D and Commercial helpful.
• Preference is a blend of both large and smaller organizations
• CPA and/or MBA etc are helpful.

Compensation is $450-550k with outstanding health, retirement and employment benefits.
