About the Job

At Shakudo, we are revolutionizing the way data-driven organizations develop, scale, deploy, and maintain their data stack. As we continue to grow, we're in search of an exceptional VP of Enterprise, tasked with leading our enterprise sales and customer success operations with large clients. As the VP of Enterprise, your role will be pivotal in expanding Shakudo's market presence among large enterprises, spearheading customer engagement and driving the growth of our enterprise portfolio.


This role requires deep familiarity with and an extensive book of business in the enterprise data and AI space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers within large enterprises to maximize Shakudo's visibility and engagement.
  • Regularly analyze, measure, and report on the effectiveness of enterprise initiatives, using data-driven insights to continuously refine and improve strategies.
  • Develop, lead, and execute an integrated enterprise strategy that enhances Shakudo's reputation among large enterprises, aligning with our overall business objectives.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the enterprise sales and customer success process, including account planning, prospecting, relationship building, negotiation, and post-sales support.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing enterprise sales and customer success team, providing them with guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for career growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Product, and other operational teams to align enterprise initiatives with marketing strategies and product offerings, ensuring relevancy for our large enterprise clients.
  • Generate a significant portion of Shakudo's sales pipeline through strategic and targeted enterprise initiatives, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention among existing clients.


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, customer success, or related field, with a strong focus on working with large enterprises. Experience must be in the data, big data platforms and artificial intelligence space.
  • Prior leadership experience, preferably as a VP of Enterprise or similar role, in a fast-growing tech startup.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful enterprise strategies that generate significant sales and high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Willingness to relocate to Toronto, ON, Canada preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
  • Exceptional leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. An MBA or other relevant post-graduate degree would be an advantage.
  • Ability to thrive and make effective decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
