We have an exciting opportunity for a VP, Global Marketing Strategy.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Partner with Disney Entertainment content teams on high-impact original programming campaigns to grow Disney+, develop customized content, and create targeted programs to enhance visibility and social awareness.
  • Facilitate department-wide brainstorms, championing big ideas and innovative thinking.
  • Develop and champion Diversity and Inclusion initiatives across all titles, identify innovative and relevant marketing programs across platforms driving maximum awareness with opportunity audiences, and targeting specific communities and organizations.
  • Secure all necessary approvals on marketing elements with the ability to champion marketing executions and obtain buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Serve as day-to-day point of contact internal Disney+ Marketing department leads and cross-line of business partners, including Studio Content, Disney Branded Television Content, Hulu Brand, Franchise, In-Home and Communications and key representative and conduit to marketing department in all Integrated Planning initiatives.
  • Create materials and internal pitching tools, tailoring the messaging to suit the audience.
  • Serve as the liaison for Marketing to internal departments including Enterprise Social Responsibility, Corporate Brand, CEO/Board’s office to manage inbound requests, needs and initiatives.
  • Oversee a team tasked with building the overall strategy, coordination and communication of the Disney+ Brand and Disney Bundle marketing efforts globally.
  • Ensure integration and consistent messaging and tie-ins across all marketing departments and activities in a given period – threading marketing messages across platforms.
  • Present campaign strategy and updates to large groups (cross-company kick-offs, synergy meetings, weekly department meetings, etc.)
  • Approve campaign messaging across all materials, ensuring consistency and integration with wider marketing campaign.
  • In partnership with the SVP, lead the strategic vision for the Disney+ brand and Disney Bundle working symbiotically with Disney+ Product and Partnership marketing teams, developing end to end campaigns, working in collaboration with the Disney+ ecosystem (marketing, product and programming) to achieve these goals.
  • Provide financial oversight of Disney+ Brand and Disney Bundle marketing, partnering with Finance in budgeting, AOP & Five Year Planning process and day-to-day P&A management.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • 10+ years of experience marketing in a marketing role and/or similar function leading high-priority brand projects with multiple key stakeholders and direct report(s)
  • High degree of competency around budget management and campaign planning
  • Experience creating strategy and executing brand campaigns.
  • Experience interfacing with high level executives and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, specifically large group presentations
  • Ability to customize and tailor communication style and approach for different audiences
  • Experience working with highly matrixed marketing organization

EDUCATION:


  • Bachelor’s degree minimum. Preferably a degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Cinema/Television or related field.


The hiring range for this position in California is $204,597.00 to $264,772.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
