: The Vice President, Corporate Strategy is responsible for the management and oversight of Maxeons’ overall corporate strategy working with the Chief Strategy Officer and CEO to further Maxeon’s mission of Powering Positive Change. The incumbent needs to be fluent in applying strategic thinking to define and accelerate Maxeon’s growth trajectory to address market & customer needs, that generate profitable growth. They will be a creative thinker who has demonstrated the ability to “see” the future and drive organizations to capture value in new and emerging business models. The role will drive the end-to-end aspects of creating and evangelizing Maxeon's most important strategies in service to delivering on our mission of powering positive change. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, this leader will be a key member of Maxeon’s strategy leadership team and work closely with Maxeon’s most senior leaders and stakeholders to define Maxeon's next chapter of growth.
Role Accountabilities
  • Liaising with the firm's internal functions to determine the applicable treatment of proposed transactions and to confirm support, presenting to senior management.
  • Providing advice on technical analysis related to transactions developed by the business, review of opinions, and corresponding presentation materials and deal metrics.
  • Design framework for bundling of solutions to protect the commercial interests of company.
  • Development and execution of a well-defined strategic expansion plan across our existing geographies to complement Maxeon’s long-term growth targets.
  • Leading the deal team lead on all aspects of strategic transactions from early stage to full development, negotiation, approvals, execution. Leading the execution of these transactions to ensure accurate execution.
  • Evaluating due diligence materials (independent engineer and other consultant reports, appraisals/cost seg reports, project documents).
  • Providing subject matter expertise and conducting analysis regarding policy and legislative issues impacting the company and advocating for policy positions.
  • Strategize pricing to improve profitability, customer acquisition and retention.
  • Reviewing and manipulating complex deal models and building internal models.
Knowledge & Experience Required
  • Demonstrated experience establishing strategic partnerships that have delivered new growth.
  • Experience with US GAAP accounting, US tax, US bank regulatory capital rules, and US bank regulatory legislation.
  • Previous experience reviewing models, term sheets and deal documentation.
Skills & Qualification Required
  • Adept at synthesizing complicated situations, organizational matrix complexities and conveying them in a manner that creates a successful value proposition for Maxeon.
  • Understanding and interest in renewable energy industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; and demonstrable ability to articulate complex and inter-connected concepts clearly.
  • Ability to influence others, especially internal stakeholders, to meet project timelines/key deliverables.
  • MBA or Masters of Corporate Strategy preferred.
