The Role:

As the VP, Digital Growth Marketing you will define, implement and execute the long-term omnichannel growth strategy for Proov’s direct to consumer, Amazon and retail businesses with focus on sales growth and performance marketing. The ideal candidate will have no issue or hesitation with rolling up their sleeves to get the job done, but knows how to have fun while doing it. This person is data-driven, able to challenge the status quo, has a deep knowledge of digital performance, and is capable of strong collaboration across all cross functional teams. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to developing and executing the paid marketing strategy, lifecycle/retention marketing, continual funnel optimization, and interfacing with supply chain to ensure supply/demand alignment.


The successful candidate will:


  • Continually test and push for optimal performance across marketing execution.
  • Manage components of the global direct to consumer P&Ls, including revenue, gross profit, operating expense, and media budget in partnership with leadership and finance
  • Lead a team in developing and optimizing the execution of emails & SMS campaigns and trigger flows.
  • Consistently work to identify white space / new growth channels, across both paid and organic to ensure the business is driving growth while being front and center for consumers
  • Measure and report on growth KPIs to find and act on opportunities to improve
  • Oversee relationships with existing and new retention marketing vendors, staying up to date on latest releases & identifying partnership opportunities to grow the channels
  • Own the online consumer journey, identifying/defining specific consumer needs, developing ways to overcome challenges along the way, and executing programs that efficiently acquire new consumers and build an effective retention strategy to drive revenue.
  • Build and manage total marketing budget, ensuring alignment with finance and leadership.
  • Utilize both traditional marketing outlets (advertising, events, direct marketing, public relations, website optimization and pay-per-click programs) and emerging approaches to generating awareness (wikis, blogs, podcasts, viral campaigns).
  • Develop and execute an omnichannel (DTC, Amazon, brick and mortar retailers) strategic marketing growth plan for the Proov product family that is disruptive and outside the box.
  • Partner with creative design, marketing, and product teams to collaborate on story-telling opportunities that reflect learnings from reporting & testing and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels


The Candidate:


  • Passionate, kind leader, with extensive expertise in scaling digital / direct to consumer business with a focus on Performance Marketing
  • Comfortable with working ambiguously as well as in a group / collaborative setting, ability to confidently navigate project prioritization, and a desire to build and shake things up
  • Demonstrated strategic business and people management skills
  • Experience is a women’s health or direct to consumer health care industry preferred
  • Ability to work remotely and cross functionally with all levels within an organization
  • 2+ years of experience of Amazon experience with a focus on managing media buyers and product listing optimization
  • Able to dive into the details and roll up their sleeves when necessary while also being able to work high level and drive long-term strategic initiatives
  • 8+ years of digital / ecomm experience and proven track record of establishing and leading performance marketing
  • Results-driven, proactive, with a hands-on disruptive approach with paid media campaign and willingness to experiment to hit key goals / KPI’s and expert in Google Analytics
  • Have prior experience working at a high-growth startup and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Data driven, quantitative and analytical thinker, technical self-starter with the ability to process and understand data while also finding ways to use this information creatively
