About the role:

We are looking for highly driven, entrepreneurial and innovative individuals to join our team as Marketing & Growth interns.

This role will be at the forefront of driving Lily's growth and impact on their respective college campus, and collaborate with other campus interns to share strategies, user feedback/insights and growth hacks.

Example of special projects include:

• Hustle to 100 -- get the word out in a scrappy manner to obtain first 100 users
• Impact 1,000 people -- develop and execute on a charity drive to raise money to impact 1,000 people for a cause of your choice (fighting malnutrition, access to clean water, direct cash transfers, and more)
• Launching Community Groups -- obtain a handful of power users to use our new feature we’ve developed which enables anyone to create their own group (friends, family, campus-wide, student orgs, etc) with a shared impact dashboard. Group Admins receive monthly impact reports based on their community’s total impact derived from donations.

As we hit new milestones, we’ll be able to celebrate as one team as our total number of people impacted metric grows over the course of the year. To-date, we’ve already impacted over 1,600 people -- providing various solutions such as micronutrient fortification, access to clean water, increasing agriculture yields, direct cash transfers and more.Be part of the movement to 100x our impact together.

Key responsibilities:

- Generate awareness and promote Lily across the campus, leveraging personal networks and finding creative, scrappy ways to spread the word

- Drive growth and adoption of Lily by reaching out to student organizations, hosting events, and finding other effective ways to get students excited about making a difference

- Foster a community of engaged users through the initiation and management of Community Groups on the Lily platform and content creation

- Track, analyze, and report on growth metrics, and adjust strategies as needed

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in a college or university

- Exceptional communication and networking skills

- Proven ability to take initiative and work independently

- Passionate about making a difference in the world

- Prior experience in marketing or campus leadership roles is a plus

Nice to have:

- Strong social media presence / following

- Active / leadership role in any student/social organizations

- Experience with content creation (tweets, Reddit, Discord, Reels/TikTok, YouTube, etc)

Extra consideration goes towards those who show initiative by downloading and testing the app with a donation. The role is unpaid on hourly basis but interns will be given a lump-sum stipend at the end of the program..
