Summary
The VP Sales and Growth is an instrumental leader who will cultivate payer and provider partnerships, opening new sales segments and contributing to the growth and maturity of our sales team. The VP is a full sales cycle contributor and will reach out to a variety of healthcare prospects to determine if myLaurel services can solve their specific care needs. The VP will prospect nationally to engage and bring new health plans or providers taking risk to the company. This experienced sales leader will draw upon their value-based care knowledge to close complex deals showcasing their command of the payer/ provider/ value based care space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and commit to detailed sales plan aligned to quarterly targets.
- Manage and own the sales process from prospecting through contract execution.
- Prospect new clients by networking, cold calling, or other means to generate active pipeline opportunities.
- Establish and maintain key customer relationships: Review customer activity, anticipating would-be client needs, and improving customer satisfaction.
- Lead sales team in meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives.
- Actively participate in strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and pricing of solutions and services.
- Partner to design sales enablement collateral and promotional materials for myLaurel products and services.
- Utilize Pipedrive to maintain adequate pipeline integrity with accurate and timely data entry.
- Generate sales from new logos and existing customers / markets.
- Track, analyze, and present sales metrics to senior leadership.
- Understand the competitive landscape and key market dynamics, informing sales approach and strategy around emerging trends.
- Work with myLaurel Operations staff to ensure the successful transition of clients’ post-sale to implementation.

Requirements
- Experience creating professional and compelling PowerPoint presentations.
- Vast healthcare institutional knowledge and referenceable payer and provider relationships.
- 3-7 years’ experience in healthcare payer or provider sales.
- Demonstrable history of exceeding sales goals and/or quotas.
- Advanced interpersonal and client service skills.
- Ability to execute necessary deliverables including development of PowerPoint presentations, sales materials, and Excel models to support sales efforts.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation/public speaking skills.
- Strong analysis, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Able and willing to travel up to 50%
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in value-based contracting.
- Possesses superior customer relations skills.

This position requires the manual dexterity sufficient to operate phones, computers and other office equipment. The person must have the ability to write and speak clearly using the English language to convey information and be able to hear at normal speaking levels both in person and over the telephone. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work is normally performed in an office setting. Salary Range: $156,000-$190,000*
