Vice President of Agronomy & Marketing

We are currently seeking a Vice President of Agronomy & Marketing. We are seeking a motivated individual who will be responsible, under the direction of the CEO, for the overall Agronomy strategy, marketing, sales, direction, coordination and evaluation of these areas. This individual will serve as a member of the leadership team and will participate in the overall direction and strategic vision of the organization.

You will:

• Supports and encourages team collaboration and cross-divisional sales efforts in all areas of the company.
• Manages high level directors and leaders within the agronomy department to maximum performance. Develops and challenges high potential employees to ensure continual learning and development of their direct reports.
• Lead the strategic direction for AgState’s successful Agronomy Division including the functional areas of Crop Protection, Fertilizer, Seed and Precision Ag, Technical Services and Sales.
• Helps to set overall cooperative strategy and tactics to achieve safety, profitability and growth results for AgState.
• Provides leadership to the marketing department in the development and implementation of short and long-term marketing plans regarding company products, services and the overall AgState brand.

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 10 or more years of leadership experience including managing exempt employees
• Prior experience in strategic planning, agronomy product/service offerings, etc.
