Who We Need:
We’re looking for a Vice President of Sales to join the crew to drive Brightwell’s growth. As the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives, managing the sales team, and participating in closing sales. Your exceptional leadership skills, business acumen, and ability to execute effective sales strategies will be vital in achieving sales targets and expanding Brightwell’s market presence.
**This is a REMOTE position, based in the U.S. Some travel will be required.**

What You’ll Do
- Exhibit patience with long sales cycles and continue to nurture the clients throughout this process.
- Collaborate with marketing, product management, operations, and others to ensure alignment and integration of sales efforts with overall business strategies.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts, monitor sales pipeline, and track progress toward sales targets.
- Analyze sales performance data and metrics to identify areas of improvement and drive informed decision-making.
- Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members, ensuring a strong and capable sales force.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new growth opportunities, target markets, and emerging trends.
- Deliver agreed-upon new clients and contract renewals each year.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives and revenue targets.
As VP of Sales, you have:
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate sales teams to achieve targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience working successfully using a sales methodology (Challenger, NEAT, Sandler, etc.) and the ability to speak to your results.
- Excellent analytical skills and strategic thinking – you’re strong on both IQ and EQ, as adept at reading data for insights as you are at reading clients for feedback.
- Travel up to 30%
- 10+ years business development experience in FinTech or banking.
- Demonstrated ability to sell to large corporations or enterprise customers and manage complex negotiations.
- Established comfort level in working with all levels of management, including C-suite
