Description
As our Regional Vice President (RVP) Partner Development with a focus of the Northeastern Region, your primary responsibilities will be to help recruit Advisors and to recruit Advisors to become one of our PlanMember Financial Centers. We are looking for someone to be a part of our Partner Development Recruiting team who is is comfortable working remote.
Starting salary is typically between $80,000 and $90,000 annually, with the opportunity to receive variable compensation based on new business generation. Salary is ultimately determined by the scope of the position the candidate’s relevant experience, and internal equity.
Position Information: This position has a focus on the Northeastern U.S. and requires up to 40% of travel.
Responsibilities
We are interested in talking to you if you have the following major duties and responsibilities:
- Handles all aspects of Recruiting for prospective Financial Centers in their region
- Work with Director of Partner Development to implement & execute new Financial Center game plans
- Research and develop qualified names to add to recruit database
- Develop close relationship with recruits to ensure success is mutually beneficial
- Red Files – Know & understand the process & procedures
- Attend relevant weekly internal meetings
- Be familiar with Term Sheet and Long Form Agreements and the economics that go with them
- Develop a strategy to close each potential FC advisor
- Be familiar with all aspects of Co-branding between PlanMember and potential Financial Center
- Act as 1st in contact and manage Zip Recruiter, Linked IN, Indeed for prospecting & hiring of Advisors for potential Financial Centers
- Coordinate & Communicate with BDO’s and Recruiting Team Re: Recruiting Activities in their region
- Read, review and comment on all relevant company literature
- Return recruit calls as appropriate/set phone & in-person meetings & appointments
- Co-Develop and Implement regional master recruiting plan for new Financial Centers in the Northeastern territory
- Coordinate with Recruiting Team Re: Direct Mail and Email Campaigns
- Prepare weekly game plans to present to the team on Mondays and present results on Fridays
- Seminars/Webinars/Luncheons organization & schedule for prospective Financial Centers
- Project Manage recruiting projects, as needed

Qualifications
- Be proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Securities Industry knowledge and experience
- Recruiting and/or sales experience a plus
- Have a working knowledge of database management
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Have excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently without close supervision
